Naruto Wordle takes the word-guessing game everyone knows and swaps the dictionary for the Naruto cast. The hidden word is the first name of a character, such as Gaara, Itachi or Tsunade, or sometimes a clan name like Uchiha, Senju or Aburame, and you have six tries to spell it out. Because the answers are names, the word is not always five letters long: the grid resizes to fit, and the help panel shows today's length.
It plays very differently from Narutodle. Instead of comparing attributes, you work letter by letter. Like the other daily guessing games here, it runs separately for the original Naruto and for Shippuden, and each difficulty has its own answer, so Easy, Hard and Impossible never repeat the character that Narutodle or Pixel Ninja is using that day.
How to Play Naruto Wordle
Type with your keyboard or the on-screen keys, then press Enter to submit a row. Any combination of letters of the right length is accepted; there is no word-list check, so a row can be used purely to test which letters are in the name.
After each row the tiles change colour. Green means the letter is in the name and in the correct position, yellow means the letter is in the name but somewhere else, and gray means it does not appear at all. Repeated letters are only marked as many times as they occur in the answer, so if you type two A's and the name holds one, only one of them lights up.
If the first rows do not crack it, hints unlock as you go: the character's rank after three rows, their affiliation after four, and a broad technique type after five, such as Jinchūriki, Dōjutsu User, Rasengan User or Puppeteer. Clan answers have no hints. Six misses, or giving up, reveals the name. The puzzle resets at midnight UTC.
Strategies for Solving Naruto Wordle Faster
Use the length as your first clue. A six-letter name could be Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Itachi, Hinata or Temari, and those share surprisingly few letters, so your first row should be chosen to separate them rather than to guess one outright.
Naruto names are built from Japanese syllables, so vowels do most of the work. A, I, U and O appear constantly, and consonants like K, S, T, N, R, H and M cover most of the rest. Letters such as L, V, Q and X are rare. Since no dictionary check applies, an opening row packed with A, I, U, K and S is perfectly legal and often more useful than a real name.
Once you have two or three greens, start listing characters who fit. The rank and affiliation hints are strongest when you already have a pattern: knowing the answer is a Kage with an A in second position leaves very few options.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Naruto Wordle the same game as Narutodle?
No. Narutodle compares character attributes like village and rank, while Naruto Wordle is about spelling the character's first name letter by letter in six tries.
Is the Naruto Wordle answer always five letters?
No. The answer is a character's first name or a clan name, so the length changes from day to day. The grid always matches the length of the current answer.
Do my guesses have to be real names?
No. Any letters of the correct length are accepted, so you can use a row to test common letters before committing to a name.
Can the answer be a clan instead of a character?
Yes. Clan names such as Uchiha, Senju, Hyuga, Uzumaki, Nara, Yamanaka, Akimichi, Inuzuka and Aburame can be the answer. Hints are not shown on clan days.
When does Naruto Wordle reset?
Every day at midnight UTC. Each era and each difficulty has its own daily word, streak and leaderboard.
